Most recently, he was CEO of Cadre, a tech platform facilitating access to commercial real estate investment. Previously, he was CEO of OppFi (NYSE: OPFI), an AI lending platform powering community banks, and Co-Founder & EVP of Insureon, the leading online agency for small business insurance. He also led financial services investing for Accretive, an early-stage private equity firm.
He began his career as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs and holds a BBA from the University of Michigan.
Braden oversees Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Data Science, and Operations at Indigo.
With 20+ years of experience, he has built, led, and advised insurtech and fintech startups in developing products, securing insurance/financial capacity, building operations, and navigating regulatory and compliance matters. He was formerly Head of Strategy and a member of the Executive Management Board at QBE North America, and was previously with McKinsey & Company.
Braden earned an MBA from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a BA in German from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Jason leads the creation of Indigo's product experience with a focus on automating and digitizing the Medical Professional Liability space.
Prior to Indigo, Jason played a role in disrupting the auto insurance industry. He started with Esurance during its early stages and witnessed its acquisition by Allstate. He also helped start up Metromile, the pioneering per-mile insurance company in the US. Jason co-founded Noblr, a digital-first, trip-based auto insurance platform later acquired by USAA.
Jason holds a BS in Mathematics from Bentley University.
With 20+ years of experience, Travis plays a strategic role in driving sales and business growth for Indigo.
Previously, he was Senior Director of Business Development at a large Catholic healthcare system. He also served as VP of Sales & Marketing for a medical malpractice startup, specializing in direct collaboration with physicians. Travis also has three years of vital, direct experience as a medical malpractice insurance broker.
Travis has competed in countless endurance events, including three Ironman triathlons. He earned a BS in Marketing from Clemson University.
Yotam brings 20+ years of experience to Indigo where he leads software vision, strategy, and implementation, leveraging his deep knowledge of machine learning for accurate doctor risk assessment.
Prior to his role at Indigo, Yotam built software for several industries, including as CTO and co-founder of a gaming studio, for insurtech Embroker, and at a crypto fintech firm.
Yotam has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
Leading the underwriting team, Brian brings 20 years of underwriting experience and innovation in medical professional liability and related healthcare lines of business.
Prior to joining Indigo, Brian served as Vice President of Underwriting and developed the Value Based Care line of business for Coverys. There, he managed a cross functional team charged with developing innovative products in support of healthcare providers transitioning from fee for service to alternative payment models as well as employers moving from fully insured to self-funded health plans. Brian also led the Custom Account team, the large account underwriting division for the organization. In this role, he was responsible for strategy, product and program development and reinsurance solutions to serve the needs of self-insured healthcare institutions and physician practices utilizing both domestic and international underwriting platforms.
Brian holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and Associates in Reinsurance (ARe) designations and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Temple University.
Tony is a seasoned Claims Leader and Subject Matter Expert with over 20 years experience in both the US and international markets across the spectrum of financial lines insurance policies with particular emphasis in medical and non-medical professional liability insurance.
At Indigo, Tony has partnered with our team of executives and AI experts to build a bleeding edge tech platform to disrupt the Medical Malpractice Insurance/Medical Professional Liability Insurance space to offer more competitive pricing and substantially improve the buying experience.
Before joining Indigo as Chief Claims Officer in June 2023, Tony spent 20 years with MedPro Group, as VP of Claims leading several national claims teams across the US. He also built out MedPro's International claim team in London to manage healthcare professional liability claims in the UK, Europe and Asia in the primary, excess and reinsurance markets.
Tony has dedicated extensive volunteer work helping assist and relocate Congolese, Tanzanian and Ethiopian refugee families from refugee camps in Africa to the United States. He earned a BTEC Business & Finance degree from Reading College in the UK.
Kathleen Murray is the Vice President of People and Culture at Indigo, overseeing all pillars of HR, including Employee Engagement, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Performance, Culture, and Business Partnership. She brings over a decade of experience in scaling the people function to support strategic growth in various industries including finance, med tech, and fintech. Kathleen has become an expert in fostering an environment which champions diversity, inclusion, innovation, and high performance while working as a distributed remote team.
Before joining Indigo, Kathleen developed her skills in numerous leadership roles, building a keen understanding of the intricate balance between business objectives and human capital development. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Carleton University in Ottawa Canada, where she lives today.
Sajee Sivasooriyan is the Vice President of Finance at Indigo, bringing a strategic depth from over a decade in financial leadership across diverse industries. At Indigo, he steers the financial strategy, ensuring operational excellence and robust fiscal management to support Indigo's growth. Prior to Indigo, Sajee served as VP of Finance at Clearco, where he contributed significantly to scaling financial operations. He also held senior roles at Deloitte, establishing a strong foundation in finance. Sajee holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
Tovio leads a team of exceptional data scientists in architecting and developing Indigo's risk prediction models. Tovio has over 2 decades of experience working in data management, analysis, and software development. He has also worked and taught in the machine learning and data science space over the last ten years.
Prior to Indigo, Tovio was a lead data scientist at the healthcare AI company ClosedLoop, engineering predictive models toward detecting emergent conditions, primarily for populations served by ACOs and DCEs. The focus of these endeavors was deployable models that could be utilized in early interventions, leading to reduction of service costs and improved health outcomes. Before working in the healthcare AI space, Tovio taught as a Data Science Instructor at Galvanize, leading a team of curriculum developers and instructors in the delivery of live courses and the creation of extensive educational materials covering topics in statistics, machine learning, and Python development.
Tovio's academic background includes language studies in Arabic, Kiswahili, and Portuguese at Wayne State University, a BS in Machine Learning from Metropolitan State University, and grant-funded research positions in computer vision with MSU Denver and CU Denver.
Millie is delighted to join the Indigo team as the Head of Actuarial Science. With a career spanning over two decades, Millie brings a wealth of experience, including expertise in innovating rating methods, providing rate indications for large physician and hospital accounts, and crafting rate filing documents for regulatory approval.
Millie's expertise extends to monitoring financial performance and developing tools to streamline processes. Collaborating closely with the management team, Millie has been instrumental in determining pricing strategies and addressing competitiveness concerns.

Adam has nearly 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship and innovation in the private sector and in
the U.S. Government. As the child of a primary care physician and a speech pathologist, Adam’s parents
instilled in him the importance of caring, family, and community, and he saw how magic the time is
between providers and their patients and the change that this can make in someone’s life. Adam
founded three successful healthcare companies including Landmark Health, a company delivering
around-the-clock medical care to chronically ill patients. From there, Adam took on major roles in the
U.S. Government, including Director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI), where
he worked on value-based care for the United States. Adam was also a founding member of Operation
Warp Speed, unanimously confirmed by the Senate as the first CEO of the International Development
Finance Corporation (DFC), and a negotiator in the historic Abraham Accords.
After his government tenure, Adam started Rubicon because he wanted to build healthcare companies
to transform how care is delivered in America, as he saw the power of bringing the private and public
sector together to solve our nation’s greatest healthcare challenges.
Adam lives in Nashville with his wife, Shira, and their four children.

A veteran of US property and casualty insurance, Bill has extensive experience in all functions of professional liability insurance. His early roles focused on claims and he subsequently assumed leadership positions in underwriting, field operations, M&A, and new ventures. He held several senior executive positions at The Doctors Company, including Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Bill served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Segment Risk, Ltd., a London managing general agent and Lloyd’s of London coverholder that designs and distributes novel insurance products in the healthcare value chain globally. His other activities have included Partner at Tappan Hill Ventures, a technology and IoT-focused venture capital partnership, and senior advisor and director for Indigo Insurance, an insurtech company utilizing machine learning and proprietary technology to predict risk. Bill presently serves as President and CEO of Ophthalmic Mutual Insurance Company (OMIC) in San Francisco.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University in Fresno, California, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He holds the Associate in Insurance Services (AIS™) and Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designations and has been active in the insurance industry, including numerous committee and section roles with the Professional Liability Underwriting Society (PLUS®) and the Medical Professional Liability Association (MPL®).
Prior to retirement in 2019, Howard served as President of the Healthcare Professional Liability Group of ProAssurance Corporation (NYSE: PRA) and has more than 35 years experience in healthcare professional liability insurance. Previous positions with ProAssurance included Chief Underwriting Officer (2005-2013) and Chief Financial Officer (2001-2005). Howard is an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Matt joined Rubicon Founders in 2021 to help build and grow companies dedicated to prioritizing patients and revolutionizing their healthcare experiences to ensure they receive the care and respect they deserve. As a co-founder of multiple Rubicon NewCos, he excels in building and scaling transformational companies, with a focus on strategy and business development.
Prior to joining Rubicon, Matt spent over a decade investing in healthcare companies. Most recently, he was at Blue Pool Capital, a Hong Kong-based investment firm, where he concentrated on both private and public healthcare companies. His prior roles include positions at JANA Partners, an activist hedge fund, and The Carlyle Group within its U.S. Buyout fund. Matt began his career in healthcare investment banking at Lazard.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research and Engineering from Cornell University and resides in Nashville with his wife and two children.
Ray is a strategic executive leader with 44 years experience within property and casualty insurance extending from specialty and complex corporate risk to reinsurance to small business and personal lines. His expertise is in the application of sophisticated risk selection and pricing capabilities in technology driven business models to deliver profitable growth.
Ray retired from The Hartford in 2018 and more recently is a cofounder and Chairman of the Board of Mutual Capital Analytics and Managing Principal of Napatree Advisors. His passion is in helping teams achieve their full potential through the application of innovative solutions to complex business processes.
Sofya Pogreb is an experienced Fintech Executive and Advisor with expertise in payments, insurance, risk management, operations, and data. With experience at McKinsey, PayPal, and as COO at 2 pre-IPO startups and a public company, she has a 20+ year track record of building outstanding teams and scaling organizations.Sofya is currently COO at Bill.com, a leading publicly traded provider of accounting software to small businesses, and a key member of the executive team, leading operations, risk, data, internal systems, and business operations.Sofya serves on the board of NEXT Insurance, an InsurTech leader, as well as on the board of Indigo. She is also passionate about education and has served on the board of directors of AchieveKids, a nonprofit that operates 2 schools for special needs learners in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is dedicated to using her experience as an executive, a business builder and a parent to help organizations with inspiring missions execute their goals.Sofya holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and dual Bachelors’ Degrees in Computer Science and Finance from MIT. She is a single mom to three kids and an avid backpacker and ballroom dancer.
